Educational program KYLIÁN WORKSHOP, put into practice.  

 

The continuity of the work was the main motive for the creation and promotion of a program for the students of dance conservatories, which is structured for the 5th to 8th year of their study. 

 

For the school years 2019-2023, the program was adopted and gradually included by the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, the Dance Conservatory of the Capital City of Prague and the Brno Dance Conservatory. 

 

Systematically and in a focused time, students will be physically acquainted primarily, and not only, with the choreography of Jiří Kylián. They will gain practical experience with highly cultivated materials, technical instructions and the space for processing the new information.  

 

Kylián Fund  in Prague, with the support of the Kylian Foundation in the Netherlands, aims to support practical literacy and at the same time passes out up-to-date information for future dance professionals. 

 

The lessons are taught by dancers and assistants in close connection with Jiří Kylián and his work.

The Kylián workshop generally requires a total of 8 working days in the school year 

x 4 hours, at least 4 following years.
